MORE “CATACOMBS”! We’ve discussed the unusual places that our P-Tn field photographers / videographers visit during our daily work when documenting PRE-Construction (and POST-Construction) conditions on project sites. In this situation we’re looking into the condition of what’s UNDER your project site – commercial building basements. No speculation or engineering analysis – just a thorough PHOTO and/or VIDEO record of the spaces in, and especially below, the buildings where construction work will be going on above – at street level.
When P-Tn creates a VIDEO or PHOTO documentation record of the street, sidewalk, or even storefronts along a linear project … you engineers & contractors should consider what exists BELOW all of those work areas, too. Basement walls, crawl spaces, footings, utilities, and other lower level / underground spaces may be in poor condition before construction above begins. We provide a Visual Documentation record that will show existing conditions, for reference if questions or disputes arise during – or after – construction.
