Every P-Tn TIME-LAPSE VIDEO we create is unique, and most are fascinating to watch. Seeing hours or days/weeks /months of work come together in less than a minute is always interesting to watch, whether you are the team that constructed the project or the owner of the now completed job. On occasion we have the opportunity document an out of the ordinary construction project. For the Time-Lapse we’re sharing here, the objective was to show the overnight installation of the main girder sections for a multi-lane bridge being built over Interstate I-35 in Johnson County, Kansas.
The General Contractor on this project, DONDLINGER Construction from Spring Hill, Kansas contacted P-Tn specifically to capture a Time-Lapse of the process of placing the new steel girders for the bridge deck – an overnight event that involved a huge team of workers to move and install the HUGE girders into position. We utilized one of our P-Tn SOLAR TRAILER outfitted with a Pan-Tilt-Zoom ProgressWEBCAM to capture images for the final video you see below.
